Morehouse and Hoffmeister

NY Route 8 is basically a north-south route that goes through through Utica and connects it to the Adirondacks.When you first get into the south-western corner of Hamilton County, you are in the town of Morehouse, which has Hoffmeister as a hamlet on 8. There is not much there in the way of businesses but lots of good state wilderness land and natural beauty. It only has a full time population of less than 100. This is a good town to relocate to if you want to be a big part of a small community.
